Brian Banks served five years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. He was able to prove his innocence when the alleged victim contacted him via internet and begin speaking with him over the phone to apologize for what her family supposedly made her do, so that the family could receive 1.5m, which they did (by saying he rape her), Banks was able to record their conversation and prove his innocence.
